poker nite IX error report.
We started the day playing video games again, Amy brought her wii fit board and we were doing snow boarding and skiing, then we did some DDR (dance dance revolution) since I have 2 dancing pads. You should’ve seen Likeng dance! And Patrick too! Well, Patrick wasn’t really dancing, he was standing on the pads looking at the TV screen… needless to say he FAILED completely.
Some of us got bored and started poker early, we were playing $1 buy-ins and soon enough we had more than $10! I forgot who won, but it was definitely enough for the real buy-in.
We began poker around 7:30pm, since Patrick was bored at DDR (of course he was, he wasn’t even moving!), he decides to go ALL-IN on the first hand. With Patrick’s LEET (wow vocabulary for very awesome) skills, Patrick managed to lose all his money on the first hand, to Brett. So, of course he buys in again. After a few more hands of being conservative, Patrick got bored again and decides to challenge us and goes ALL-IN once more, at the 7th hand (yes I was counting). Since Patrick has his 1337 (wow language, 1=L, 3=E, 7=T) skills, he managed to lose all his money, AGAIN. Yes, you are thinking correctly, after about 20 min Patrick already lost 2 buy-ins. Good thing Fanny was winning…
About a few more hands in, our Cat King (Chinese for Elvis), lost a huge hand to Brett. In case you don’t know who our Cat King is, he’s Horse Field, aka Marty Williams. Anyway, personally I think he lost because review times were coming up….. I’m only kidding here, whatever happens in poker night stays in poker night, please don’t take me seriously, refer to rule #3…
Anyway, Danny did great that night, he was actually winning! Then Janet, aka Boss Janet, or MJ, or PMIC (stands for Powerful Manager In Control) takes over Danny’s money and starts to play. Since Janet is leet like Patrick, she went ALL-IN and lost all Danny’s money! I think Danny was saying something like Janet is sleeping on the couch that night or something…
Oh, I almost forgot to mention my dog, BAOBAO, and my cat, MEIMEI. Baobao was very excited to see all of you, especially the kids, he’d charge up to them, like Michelle, and made her cry! But later on when baobao calmed down a bit, Michelle wasn’t so scared anymore. It’s nice to have a friendly dog. Baobao has a gift, he knows if you are a good person or an evil person. With all the kids Baobao is very nice and doesn’t bite at all! haha you know where I’m leading to… so yeah, our very own cat king was playing with baobao and tried to kiss him, or something, and baobao bit him in the nose!! Marty started bleeding, we had to wash his nose with vodka, oh wait, we didn’t have any vodka, I had my first aid kit but that wasn’t enough for his wound, Horse shoe (Marty Tiglao) went to his truck and grab a huge first aid kit and started bandaging up horse field (marty Williams). Good thing nothing serious happened and I didn’t get sued. I’m already poor and almost filing chapter 11 after buying a house. I’mma have to escape to Taiwan if you sue me!
Alright, my 2x 15 min break is up, I’mma have to get back to work now, no more story writing for me, see you this Saturday!

the early days of poker nite.
So I’ve created this mailing list for our poker night gatherings. Sorry Patrick, I didn’t use your suggestion of poking... stuff…
Let’s have a little schedule thing going so it’ll be easier for ppl to sign up. Below is a list of months, if you can host the poker night please fill in your name. whoever’s hosting can decide which day of the month they want to have the poker night. Please fill in what you can, or we’ll just have to invite ourselves to Janet’s place every month. You can also decide if you want to BBQ, or potluck, or everyone for themselves, etc. I picked April and December just to start things off, if you like those months I can swap with you.

Big thanks to Kathy for volunteering her place for us to trash, I mean, play poker. Thanks to Patrick and Marty for volunteering as well, we’ll reserve your places for future nights.
I’ve changed the time to 4:30pm, please don’t show up at 2pm. let’s show up between 4:30pm-5pm, eat from 5-6:15pm (by “eat” I really meant get drunk), trash talk a bit, and start our poker games at 6:30pm.
Please bring your own food, or I can bring extras for you but let me know. anyway, please accept or decline if you haven’t, so I can get an accurate headcount so Kathy knows what she’s getting into.......

Due to the nature of our trash talk content, thanks to Patrick, we have to move to a more private emailing environment.
After getting a few complaints from IT, and HR, and QC upper management, we have to move our emails to our private emails.
This is good in several ways:
1) Patrick can say whatever he wants and won’t get in trouble
2) The managers on this list won’t be obligated do anything when Patrick says whatever he wants
3) Patrick can keep saying whatever he wants
4) We can laugh at (I mean, with) Patrick for whatever he says
5) The managers on this list won’t get in trouble when they see what Patrick says and not report it
6) I can go on and on about whatever Patrick wants to say….
7) You get the idea.
Ok, so, please GIVE ME your private email, if you don’t have one, you can create them at @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, @gmail.com, @hellokitty.com, whatever you’d like. Just send me your private email, and I’ll send out a new list from my private email with everyone on it.
